Auto Start/Stop Disable is not a popular 2024 change

Heads up for 2024+ trucks: many 2024–2026 owners report this change no longer works, and FORScan support has reportedly said Ford blocked it in newer module software. Save your As-Built backup first, and expect it may not take on your truck.

2024 is the first year whose notes move several BCM, DDM, and PDM nibbles. Where an instruction says “2024-2026: use this nibble position instead,” that line is the one for this truck. The 2021–2023 line above it is the wrong position, even though the module code did not change.

Auxiliary External Subwoofer Enable drops out after 2023. Do not carry that ACM value forward. Trail Control is not a 2024 row. The catalog says that address is not exposed as Trail Control until 2025–2026, and only then for Raptor and Tremor. The row is not sold.

The builder’s trim and engine lists match 2023, including Hybrid. The worksheet difference versus 2023 is the nibble position on the rows that say so, not a new trim. When a row does not mention a 2024-2026 position, the catalog is treating that setting as unchanged across 2021–2026.

Auto start/stop is the exception to that unchanged-row rule. The PSCM change is still listed, but many 2024–2026 owners report it no longer works, and FORScan support has reportedly said Ford blocked it in newer module software. Save an As-Built backup before trying it, and do not treat it as a popular 2024 change.

2024 F-150 FORScan FAQ

How many FORScan mods fit a 2024 F-150 in this catalog?

F-Config lists 32 rows whose year range includes 2024. 32 of those are sold on a worksheet. The rest are cataloged with a reason they are not sold. Compatibility can still depend on trim, packages, and whether the module is actually installed.

What changed for 2024 versus 2023?

32 catalog rows fit 2024 (32 sold), versus 33 rows on the 2023 page. No catalog row starts at 2024. 1 catalog row ended in 2023 and are out of range here: Auxiliary External Subwoofer Enable (2021+). Worksheet builder trims for 2024: XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, Raptor, and Tremor. Worksheet builder engines for 2024: 3.5L EcoBoost, 5.0L V8, 2.7L EcoBoost, 3.3L V6, and Hybrid. No builder trim is added or removed versus 2023. No builder engine is added or removed versus 2023.

Which address map should a 2024 F-150 use?

Use the 14th-generation rows, and the 2024–2026 nibble when a note prints both a 2021–2023 position and a 2024–2026 position. Do not reuse a 2015–2020 address.

Do I need to back up my 2024 F-150 before writing a worksheet row?

Yes. Save the original as-built values first. The worksheet leaves a blank beside each target so you can record the original. F-Config does not connect to the truck or guarantee that a change is warranty-safe.
