F-Config Forum Rules
The forum exists to help F-150 owners discuss lawful, backup-first DIY worksheet experiences. F-Config is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the vehicle manufacturer or FORScan.
Prohibited content
- Emissions deletes, readiness bypasses, defeat-device guidance, or inspection bypass instructions.
- Airbag, restraint, ABS, stability control, or other safety-system disabling guidance.
- Anti-theft, immobilizer, PATS, key-programming, or security bypass guidance.
- Odometer, VIN, title, inspection, or fraud-related instructions.
- Pirated FORScan licenses, license sharing, cracked software, or tool bypass instructions.
- Copied paid worksheets, copyrighted spreadsheets, screenshots, or guides without permission.
- Harassment, threats, doxxing, spam, or unsafe advice presented as guaranteed.
Required posting standards
- Describe your vehicle clearly: year, trim, engine, drivetrain, and relevant factory options.
- Keep advice backup-first and explain rollback limits where possible.
- Do not present any worksheet, code, or module change as guaranteed safe, legal, or warranty-safe.
- Respect copyright and only post content you created, have permission to share, or can lawfully reference.
- Report questionable content so moderators can review it quickly.
Moderation and takedowns
- F-Config may edit, hide, lock, or remove posts that violate these rules or create legal, safety, privacy, spam, or support risk.
- Users who repeatedly post prohibited, infringing, or unsafe content may lose forum access.
- Copyright or permission concerns can be sent to support@fconfig.com with the post URL, the material at issue, and enough detail for review.
- Do not post private worksheet links, private customer information, license keys, or screenshots that expose another person's data.
